PhD position in Molecular Electronics
PhD position in Molecular Electronics, Nano-Science Center, KU
A PhD position is open at the Danish-Chinese Center for Molecular Nano-Electronics, which is part of the Nano-Science Center at the University of Copenhagen. The position is available for immediate start.
The scientific aim of the research within the Danish-Chinese Center for Molecular Nano-Electronics is to develop new scientific insight that allow better control of the nanoscale supramolecular organization of electronic materials as well as the fabrication of devices with novel advanced functions. The work is highly interdisciplinary and includes aspects of nanoscale spectroscopy, chemical self-assembly and device fabrication.
For the current PhD position, we are looking for a talented candidate with a background in chemistry, physics or nano-science, preferably with experience in supramolecular chemistry and/or scanning-probe techniques.
The project will include a six months stay at the Chinese Academy of Sciences in Beijing.
Qualifications
An MSc or equivalent degree in a field relevant to the research project is required. Good English skills are mandatory.
Salary and employment
Salary is paid according to the agreement between the Ministry of Finance
and the Danish Federation of Professional Associations (AC). PhD
employment is for a total period of 3 years.
