CHEM Talks

Department of Chemistry host a series of scientific seminars presenting chemical research at the department. The seminars will always be held Fridays from 12:15 – 12:45, the language will be English and introducing the scientific field of one of our researchers.

Associate Professor Christian Bender Koch will give the next CHEM Talks Friday 14/1-2022 at 12:15.

"Chemistry and Structure of Nano-sized Minerals"

I study mineral particles of ultra-small size. This is done to understand the chemistry and structure of the minerals, and ultimately understand their role in geochemical systems. In this talk, I will give a personal interpretation on how to become a nano-scale geochemist. I will select examples illustrating the power of chemical founded knowledge to understanding everyday problems.
