Metal halide perovskites have attracted extensive attention in the field of photocatalysis, because of their excellent photophysical properties, including high optical absorption coefficients, tunable band structures, and long carrier diffusion lengths. The application prospect of conventional lead-based halide perovskites is restricted by their toxicity and instability issues. Therefore, it is imperative to develop environmentally years, the rapid development of LFHPs has provided new opportunities for their friendly and stable lead-free halide perovskites (LFHPs) for photocatalysis. In recent OS photocatalytic applications, ranging from solar-to-chemical energy conversion to photocatalytic organic reactions. In this Review, we summarize the recent progresses of LFHPs for photocatalytic applications, with an emphasis on the strategies available to improve their performance and stability. Furthermore, we present an outlook on future development directions and challenges in this emerging field.
